The appointee will join the central administrative team in the Dean’s Office to provide support in functional areas such as quality assurance, human resources and special projects. The appointee needs to deal with academic and administrative staff at different levels, and interact regularly with both internal and external parties. His/Her duties include compiling data and preparing executive and analytical reports on teaching and research; providing secretarial support to task forces, committees and meetings; handling staff and faculty review and appointments; coordinating school events; providing administrative support to school centers and special projects; and perform any other ad hoc duties.
Applicants should have a recognized bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years' relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably in a tertiary education setting. Experience in human resources, quality assurance, secretarial work or report writing, and proficiency in using software (e.g. excel) in processing data would be advantageous. The appointee should have excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua is an advantage), and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. He/She should be mature, responsible, analytical and discreet in handling confidential information. He/She should also be able to perform multiple tasks under defined timeline, and work independently and as a team. Working outside normal office hours may be required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
