COMMUNICATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICE
The Communication and Public Relations Office is responsible for raising the profile of the University and enhancing understanding of its development and achievements among its stakeholders and the general public. The Office is now seeking a suitably qualified individual to join its Communication Services and Publications team.
The appointee will:
- Work closely with the Communications Manager to develop and implement strategies for effective internal and external communication via the University’s publications and online communication channels;
- Plan and produce quality publications and online contents;
- Manage online communication channels;
- Assist in the planning and execution of branding exercises and special events; and
- Provide editorial support to the Office.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, English/Chinese language, Translation or related disciplines;
- Eight years of solid experience in communication services and online promotions;
- An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and a good team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
Reference salary range: HK$32,905 - HK$52,600
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
