  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, or Audit
  • 5+ years’ experience in data privacy compliance or Legal department (paralegal) or audit experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency conducting Internal Audits and Risk Management
  • Business Continuity Management Experience
  • Knowledge of Data Privacy Laws would be an advantage
  • Proficient in English and Cantonese
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Result-oriented, independent and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn

Impact You'll Make:

  • Perform internal data privacy compliance reviews including on Code of Practice on Consumer Credit Data and Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance
  • Conduct Internal audits on critical process and follow up on the findings and do complete root cause analysis.
  • Identify, assess and handle complaints from consumers which involves PCPD.
  • Assist Legal team in para legal activities.
  • Assist the Compliance Regional Lead in performing annual compliance risk assessment process including control validation activities
  • Monitor business performance against Compliance Policies and law
  • Provide consultation and guidance to business on new/amended compliance requirements stemming from regulatory or business policy
  • Follow up and conduct internal review on BCP process
  • Assist in corporate investigation and liaise with corporate team on violation of corporate policies and law.
  • Identify opportunities across the department and company to continuously optimize existing processes to simplify and improve.
  • Independently work on ad hoc projects with minimal supervision and oversight from manager
  • Respond to Compliance and Due diligence questionnaires from clients & prospects
  • Work closely with IT, Legal ,Information Security ,Sales, Product, Internal Audit
  • Work with external parties/auditors on Compliance assessments.
