Role and Responsibilities:

• Act as a data strategist to work with data stakeholders in identifying opportunities for leveraging corporate data, strategizing and driving data-driven solutions to meet business goals;
• Identify and collect large datasets from different data sources;
• Explore innovative ways for data integration to enforce good governance on data management and regulatory compliance;
• Assess the potential usefulness and validity of new models and data sources;
• Rapidly develop proof-of-concept prototypes to prove out hypotheses;
• Setup and manage the enterprise middle layer for data integration;
• Continuous update the data modelling with KPI in term of resolve time, reuse rate, security, cost, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline;
• Minimum 6 years of related IT experience covering but not limited to:
• Data analytics
• Data modeling
• Data integration
• Data governance
• Deep knowledge on SQL;
• Knowledge and hand-on experience on Alibaba Cloud platform and tools including Dataworks, MaxCompute, etc.;
• Experience in the solution of ETL, cleaning, desensitization;
• Experience in data lake or big data platform implementation;
• Experience in data visualization BI tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Airline or travel industry knowledge is highly beneficial.

• Comfortable in handling large datasets and perform data checks, data consolidation & data preparation;
• Proven client-facing experience with successful relationship management;
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skill;
• Professional, passionate, innovative, self-motivated and able to present solutions to diverse groups of stakeholders;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity;
• Proven troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas;
• Can-do attitude and sense of urgency.
