WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, your primary responsibility is ensuring the highest level of guest experience is delivered at all times. You are responsible for every aspect of the guest experience while they are here with us. As the Assistant Manager, you are responsible for the successful running of front office operation on your entire shift as well as overseeing all other aspects of the hotel operations including the restaurant service, events and all guest experience opportunities.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Managing your time and able to juggle numerous tasks at once but still able to follow procedure and maintain a high awareness of safety and security.
  • You will have a strong level of understanding of front office.
  •  You initiate interactions with guests that are engaging, positive and genuine.
  • You have the necessary skills and training to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests.
  • You can provide guidance, support, training and leadership to all team members.
  • You have an outcome driven approach to performance and results and strive to achieve excellence in your field.
  • Current First Aid, CPR and RSA certificate are required.
  • Previous experience with Opera would be advantageous.

You will have a passion for the industry and is committed to delivering high levels of customer service. Available to work across a rotating roster with varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including week-ends and Public Holidays as per our business demands. You will have unlimited rights to work in Australia and be flexible to work 38 hours per week.
