Job Description

Job Purpose:

Be a member of the Humanitarian Education Office, the Assistant Manager will assist the Manager to support Humanitarian Education

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the organization of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Mooting Competition, including programme planning, implementation, evaluation and financial management.
  • Act as the key focal point to liaise with internal and external partners
  • Assist in formulating and delivery of IHL promotion including but not limiting to IHL Moot Competition, public seminars and workshops
  • Assist to draft and distribute compelling social media campaign content to engage supporters and grow our initiatives’ footprint.
  • Assist the delivery of workshops/trainings/programs for Humanitarian Education and Dissemination to staff and volunteers
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisors 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or equivalent, preferably in discipline of Social Science or Communications
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification working experiences
  • Experience in programme and event management would be an advantage
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Good command in Microsoft office
  • Able to work under pressure and independently
  • Mature, responsible and good interpersonal skills

 

Contract period: 5-month contract
