Responsible for performing accounts payable activities to ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of accounting records, and the compliance with accepted accounting standards, AIA group reporting policy and statutory and regulatory requirements

• Overseeing day-to-day operations

• Ensure vendor invoices, staff travel and entertainment claims and payment are processed by AP team in accurate and timely manner

• Ensure month end closing complete in timely manner

• Assist in preparation and review monthly SLA/KPI report, Exceptional report and GRIR clearing report

• Assist and monitor on identified issue from staff and ensure that they are effectively settled on a timely basis

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent

• Internationally Recognised Accounting Qualification(ACCA,etc) will be an advantage

Experience:

• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

• At least 1 years supervisory and management experience in this position

• Experience in a shared services or similar environment

Special business knowledge and skills:

• Good knowledge of accounting standards and principles

• Good knowledge of proper control environments

• Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word

• Good knowledge in SAP, ARIBA and Concur will be an advantage

• Excellent command in English

• Good interpersonal skills, problem solving and strong sense of urgency

• Independent and good communication skill
