Responsibilities:
- To provide technical support to all staff by handling complex operational problems and assigning subtasks to sub-ordinates, to ensure that all hardware and software related problems are resolved effectively and efficiently
- To assist in making recommendation in the identification and evaluation of vendors in the purchase of IT services such as development of software, printer maintenance, etc.
- To assist in the preparation of IT policy, procedures and instructions relating to daily support, PC setup and configuration, software installation, contractor management, etc.
- To evaluate new or upgraded hardware and software products acquired externally and liaise with suppliers/contractors to resolve any problems
Requirements:
- Degree holder preferably in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years’ hands-on office automation operation experience with not less than 5 years’ experience on handling of internal customers’ support requests and more than 1 year of experience in coordinate and prioritize support jobs in an IT support team
- Familiar with a wide variety of hardware such as personal computers, scanners, printers and plotters, and software such as office automation software, email software, project management software and flowchart software
- Project Management skills are required
