We are seeking for a highly motivated individual to join Regional Center South East Asia (RC SEA) to join the Daimler Bus Sales & Marketing Team for the Next 30 markets within Daimler Commercial Vehicles South East Asia Pte. Ltd. (DCVSEA).

As an Assistant Manager (Level 6) – Sales, CKD & Bodybuilder Advisor, your main responsibilities will include the following:

1. Consultation and Support on Product and Product Training Topics
• Provide support and consultancy in the area of chassis/bus product range and pricing based on current market trend and competition
• Advise on complex sales offers
• Clarification of technical specifications, pricing and delivery
• Coordinate and arrange all product introduction activities, e.g. sales and product trainings, together with Head of Bus Sales & Marketing DCVSEA
• Plan and coordinate with the markets visits to customers for their feedback on product topics, to gather service feedback and identify needs of improvement.
• Identify training needs as well as to plan and coordinate the necessary training for the markets.
• Coordinate and support homologation activities

2. Consultation to body builders in the markets
• Provide body building advisory and ensure the quality gate process for body builders in the region. Support MPC markets when needed.
• Arrange support from factories to the markets, e.g. with regards to the implementation of the body builder guideline or body builder training,
• Support markets in building up adequate infrastructure for body building.
• Establish and implement all guidelines based on the factory’s recommendations.

3. CKD support for the markets
• Plan and coordinate CKD assembly and process
• Resolving the technical CKD topics
• Coordinate and support Corrective Action Claims for CKD
• Establish and implement all guidelines based on factory’s recommendations.
• Ensure Pre-Delivery Inspection check in accordance to Mercedes-Benz standards for quality assurance

4. Support the Head of Bus Sales & Marketing
• Support the order management for products from MB BRAS, Samano, DICV
• Coordinate and provide support to establish operative targets/ plans together with the local distributors and ensure their realization.

5. Planning/ reporting with MPC/ GDs and factories
• Establish yearly budget for all necessary activities in body building and CKD chassis support
• Follow up on the implementation and correct financial handling and report of all activities

And any other reasonable assigned tasks.
