We are looking for Major Claim Officer (i.e. equipped with basic knowledge on Death, Critical Illness and Disability Claim) who will be responsible for performing administrative duties related to insurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Ensure claims are handled efficiently and payment for valid claims is made to policyholders/beneficiaries.
• Involved in managing a claim from the start through to settlement, including making decisions on the extent and validity of a claim and checking for any potential fraudulent activity.
• Communicating to insurance advisors, policyholders, claimants and beneficiaries pertaining to their queries relating to their claim via email, live chat services and telephone.
• Letter preparation, including letter writing to communicate to policyholders, claimants and beneficiaries on the claims status.
• Data entering of the claims record into system.
• Adhering to contractual and legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company

Requirements

• Work will be based in AIA Tampines Office.  May be required to travel to different AIA Office location at times or work from home independently due to the covid restriction.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in insurance company, relating to major claims.
• Proficient customer service skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills and writing skills, with ability communicate well with customers from different backgrounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e. MS Word, and MS Excel).
• Meticulous and able to comprehend contractual wordings
