We are looking for Major Claim Officer (i.e. equipped with basic knowledge on Death, Critical Illness and Disability Claim) who will be responsible for performing administrative duties related to insurance claims.Responsibilities
- Ensure claims are handled efficiently and payment for valid claims is made to policyholders/beneficiaries.
- Involved in managing a claim from the start through to settlement, including making decisions on the extent and validity of a claim and checking for any potential fraudulent activity.
- Communicating to insurance advisors, policyholders, claimants and beneficiaries pertaining to their queries relating to their claim via email, live chat services and telephone.
- Letter preparation, including letter writing to communicate to policyholders, claimants and beneficiaries on the claims status.
- Data entering of the claims record into system.
- Adhering to contractual and legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company
Requirements
- Work will be based in AIA Tampines Office. May be required to travel to different AIA Office location at times or work from home independently due to the covid restriction.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in insurance company, relating to major claims.
- Proficient customer service skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills and writing skills, with ability communicate well with customers from different backgrounds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e. MS Word, and MS Excel).
- Meticulous and able to comprehend contractual wordings
