ESTATES OFFICE
The appointee will be a member of the Cost and Contract Management Section and posted in the Facilities and Campus Management Section of the Estates Office and be responsible for the controlling and monitoring the cost and the contractual aspects of campus renovation, improvement, and repair and maintenance works of the University.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of project estimates and annual budgets, cost controlling and monitoring of the renovation, improvement, and repair and maintenance works of the University;
- Preparation and administration of the term contracts; and
- Cost and contract management of renovation/improvement work projects.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline and be a full member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (Quantity Surveying Division) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with five years’ work experience in quantity surveying field; and
- Hands-on experience in handling term contracts would be advantageous.
Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for a written test. Applicants with less qualification or experience would be considered for the post of Officer.
Work Location:
Mainly on Kowloon Tong Campus
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
