Job Description

The Regional office is part of the global service and parts logistics organization, supporting all asia pacific spare parts logistics centers for Mercedes-Benz cars and vans. Our responsibilities cover three main streams for our logistics centers namely "business performance", "competence and communication" and "projects and activities". The "business performance" stream includes responsibilities and tasks around reporting and operational KPIs. The "competence and communication" stream includes supporting and coordinating regional workgroups of managers aiming to improve our operations. Finally, the " Projects and activites" stream supports the design, steering and implementation steps for projects and activities to improve our logistics operations in the region.

To succesfully support these streams we work with our international colleagues from around the region including located in 11 different locations in APAC. We also represent and link our locations with our central counter parts in Germany.

Your daily activities will involve very regular communication with the vicepresident of asia pacifc parts logistics operation, close alignment with the regional office team as well as regular communication with all our counterparts spread across the region. In this dual role, you will support the vicepresident of the asia pacific parts logistics organization (25% of your time) and also play your part supporting all three streams from the regional office (remaining 75% of the time).

As such, the duties and tasks expected from the candidate are:

- Project Management
- Steering, coordination, communication and presentation of projects and activities to all related parties
- Reporting status of projects and activities regularly
- Ensuring all information communicated is upto date and correct
- Management of our internal social intranet page, ensuring all information is correct and using the platform to engage employees.
- KPI Reporting ensuring all location have provided their data and creating clear reports.
- Supporting the management of the workgroups
- Meeting Minutes elaborationand distribution
- Ad-hoc activities that may arise supporting the correct functioning of the regional office
- Preparation and management of presentations
- Supporting Vice President of Asia Pacific Parts Logistics
- Calendar management
- Planning and organizing meetings and events
- Travel coordination, bookings, claims
