Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To draft consultancy tender documents, invitation to tender and review tender analysis for the selection and appointment of various consultants for data assembly, area measurement, land survey, assessment of market value and notional unit rate, market study of flat supply and business loss claims for the implementation of acquisition projects
  • To review and counter-check valuation reports prepared by consultants to ensure that the analyses are based on relevant market comparables, accurate property information and the Authority’s policies to arrive at a fair and reasonable assessment
  • To prepare preliminary project boundary checking, including site inspections, checking of building plans, property titles, transactions and DMC, etc.
  • To scrutinize and analyse market and property information assembled by consultants or in-house staff to ensure completeness and accuracy for preparing in-house valuations and acquisition offers

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma holder in Surveying or relevant discipline
  • Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (General Practice Division) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in valuation, property acquisition or related field, with at least 3 years’ managerial experience and not less than 2 years’ post qualification experience
