Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Accounting for the APAC Region:

  • Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing for the region.
  • Conduct checks and analysis to ensure that the data for closing is correct.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercise.
  • Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
  • Provide recommendations/improvements on various finance related processes and procedures.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Professional Certificates i.e. ACCA/ICAEW/CPA.
  • 5 to 7 years working experience in insurance.
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS accounting standards.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage. 

Personal Attributes:

  • Comfortable in working with various systems and have the curious mind-set to find out or improve on existing processes.
  • Effective problem solving skills and able to implement internal control by enforcing effective and efficient work process/procedures and has the ability to put in place the required process, system and documentation.
  • Positive, mature and self-motivated individual with can-do attitude and the ability to drive initiatives independently and yet be a team-player.
  • Meticulous with good attention to details, efficient, strong analytical & presentation skill and able to meet deadlines.
  • Good organizers and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Good command of English and report writing skills.
