Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the treaty reinsurance program and all reinsurance related matters, including monitoring on risk accumulation and catastrophe exposures, security approval of reinsurers and related credit risk control, handling of special RI portfolio, etc.
• Monitor all business units with regular reports and audit check to ensure full compliance with both local and regional reinsurance rules and guidelines.
• Prepare and ensure timely submission of Annual Reinsurance Returns as required by regional office and treaty reinsurers
• Work with operational teams to maintain proper risk commitment control and system data quality.  
• Support the provision of reinsurance training and suitable coaching to team members and ensure smooth operation of the Reinsurance team

Requirements:

• University Graduate, preferably in insurance-related studies
• At least 5 years of underwriting and reinsurance experience in general insurance
• Professional qualification in ACII/ANZIIF would be an advantage
• Strong business acumen with good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Strong statistical and analytical skills and able to meet tight deadline
• Good team player to liaise with different stakeholders
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
