Assistant Manager, Revenue Audit

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager, Revenue Audit assists and supervises a team of revenue auditors to ensure that the hotel’s daily revenue are accurately balanced and recorded in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures.

  • Ensure that daily hotel report & all related reports (eg. General Cashier Reports) prepared by Revenue Auditors are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Review and ensure that all F&B adjustments are correctly posted to Opera, and all business dates in Opera are closed on time.
  • Checking of monthly Staff & Promotions Journals.
  • Ensure the Meeting Package is balanced and the master room is cleared in monthly basis.
  • Ensure that the hotel’s policies, procedures and controls relating to Revenue Audit are adhered to by the team.
  • Daily checking of Income Journal before submitting to Assistant Financial Controller.
  • Monitor and clear festive deposits, example for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.
  • Accurate and timely preparation of F1 Levy for payment to STB.
  • Accurate and timely preparation of GST submission.
  • Daily Hotel Report and P&L comparison for month end closing.
  • Review and improve current work processes.
  • Review and identify new areas for auditing and/or balancing.
  • Review the quality of work in Revenue Audit for accuracy, quality and timeliness.
  • Supervision of Revenue Audit personnel, which includes work allocation, training and problem resolution; evaluate performance and make recommendation for personnel actions; motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
  • Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times.
  • Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel and department.

Qualifications:

  • At least GCE “A” Level or Degree
  • At least 5 years of revenue audit experience in hotel industry
  • Accounting certificates
  • Microsoft Office knowledge, proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Be able to work on weekends (including public hoildays) during month end / when need arises
