Job Description

Assistant Manager, Spa is responsible for efficiently assisting in the management of the daily operations of the Spa in accordance with the Standards set by the company to meet the needs and demands of in-house guests, visitors and hotel management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting

  • Ability to prepare and deliver various reports required by management on a timely basis.
  • These may include but not limited to Daily sales, and sages, Monthly profit and loss reports, Monthly Statistic and / or other ad-hoc reports.
  • The preparation of analytical reports that will be required on a regular basis for the Director, Spa and Resort Services.

Spa Maintenance and Upkeep

  • Ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently to successfully achieve the highest possible revenue and profit.
  • Ensure contractors are meeting contractual obligations with regard to appearances cleaning, gardens, pool maintenance and equipment service agreements.
  • Work closely with Engineering Department and ensure the Spa, Salon and Pool & Gym front and heart of house facilities achieve the highest possible conditions.
  • Work closely with EVS and Housekeeping Department and ensure the Spa, Salon and Pool & Gym front and heart of house facilities achieve the highest possible conditions and cleanliness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • 3-5 years working experience with minimum 2 years in Supervisor position and with Spa experience is a must
  • Having a knowledge of F&B is an advantage
  • Required to have current knowledge in health, fitness & hospitality industry

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent professional training
  • Valid Adult / Child First Aid Certification
  • ACSM Level ½ or a formal qualification in a fitness related field
  • Cidesco/ ITEC qualification

Skills / Competencies

  • Good command in both written and spoken in Mandarin, Cantonese and English
  • Displays a high commitment to delivering and improving customer service
  • Results orientated, demonstrates advanced business acumen and accepts accountability for results
  • Demonstrates advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has a strong work ethics
  • Strong leadership ability to lead others to achieve business objectives

  • Computer literate in Microsoft office software
  • Knowledgeable in POS/ MICROS/ Opera system and SpaConnect
  • Knowledgeable in body and facial treatments

Advantageous Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills are preferred
