Location: Sheung Wan
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop staff relations strategies/initiatives for enhancing brand awareness, promoting goodwill, cultivating team spirit and nurturing a caring culture in the workplace;
- establish and maintain staff communication and consultation channels of the Staff Consultative Committee, briefing/sharing sessions, staff newsletter, opinion surveys, Facebook and other social media platforms;
- plan, design and organize around 12 staff relations events, such as Ice-cream Day, Work-life Balance Month, Cheer Day, interest classes as well as social and recreational activities (including design/edit graphics, videos and audio files for promotion means);
- oversee the employee assistance programme such as the professional personal counselling and consultation services;
- plan and formulate the yearly plan/budget of staff relations for the staff representatives’ consideration and management’s approval; and
- lead the Staff Relations Unit to maintain a stable and productive workforce capable of handling day-to-day business and work on the ad hoc project as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A recognized degree or equivalent;
- at least Grade D in both English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
- at least 4 years of administrative experience preferably in staff relations and/or event management;
- proficiency in English and Chinese, and preferably in Putonghua;
- a good team player with sound interpersonal skills; and
- able to work independently with initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation and employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave,medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
