Assistant Manager (Zhaoqing) (Ref: 20000IC)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President (Resources & Development), the appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the planning, coordination and implementation of the University’s development project in Zhaoqing, China;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and coordinating meetings, visits and exchange activities in relation to the project;
- Building and maintaining a central repository of documentation and artifacts of the project;
- Providing secretarial/executive support to the Vice President (Resources & Development); and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- A recognized degree with at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience;
- Knowledge of the local and/or mainland higher education environment and development an advantage;
- Independent and self-motivated with good communication, interpersonal, organizational and project management skills;
- Ability to deal with people tactfully and in an appropriate manner;
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (including Putonghua); and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test.
Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.
