Live up to your passion for event management while you lead the team to perform the end-to-end coordination of hotel events. Your team will ensure memorable and unique guest experiences while maximising revenue for the hotel. You are professional and knowledgeable about the hotel, the local area and the luxury experience, and you are well connected and can build strong relationships and bonds with your clients.

What you will be doing:
- Assist the Director of Sales with the overall function of the Meeting & Events team to maximise performance, drive RGI and profitability
- Responsible for the management of events from handover from Sales to handover to Banquets and post event requirements
- Represent a luxury product and communicate and liaise at all levels, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded
- Develop a guest focused and performance driving culture among the Meeting & Events team
- Be the face of Sofitel Brisbane Central, representing a five-star luxury brand.
Your experience and skills include:
- Relevant and recent events experience in a luxury brand
- Motivated and driven to succeed
- Able to work independently
- Guest focused and committed to providing exceptional service at all times
- Highly responsible and reliable, being able to achieve tasks efficiently, accurately and promptly
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding personal presentation and style
