Assistant Merchandiser

Job description：

1. Administration of the specification and quotation process as directed by Merchandiser or Senior Merchandiser

2. Obtain quotes on price, delivery, packaging and other terms of trade as directed by merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser

3. Work with QC/QA team or SGS testing company on product testing issue and sample approval, final inspection etc.

4. Complete additional tasks or assignments

5. Produce all reports required by the MM/Senior Merchandiser/MerchandiserLiaise with factories on export/Import duties and legal documents filing.

6. Liaise with factories to ensure they can deliver against the requirements of the tenders/quotations submitted and orders placed. Liaise with the supplier to ensure goods are shipped on time and within the terms of trade agreed with the buyer. Liaise wit the respective shipping function to ensure all documentation is completed in a timely

7. Ensure all labelling requirements are met and meet any legislative requirements

8. Follow up of all orders

9. Complete OTT in order tracking system on a timely basis.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree with major in Textile/Clothing or equivalent.

2. With minimum 1 years' merchandising experience in apparel.

3. Preferable in garment fields.

4. Working experience in buying office is preferred.

5. Good communication skill with the buyers and suppliers.

6. Good spoken & written in English Proficiency in PC skills.

7. Positive, hands-on mentality, independent, proactive and international minded.

8. Highly responsible and self-initiative and a good team player.

9. Able to work under pressure.Immediate availability is preferred
