Job Description
Key job tasks/duties/responsibilities:
- Management of orders and the delivery time frames
- Managing and reporting on on-time deliveries
- Maintain relationships between factories, Customer, Quality Assurance and Control
- Production of technical documentation and update as required
- Work closely with Quality Assurance Teams
- Negotiations with factories
To be successful in this role you will need:
- 5+ years’ experience in direct deal with buyers for Merchandiser / 3+year experience for Junior Merchandiser required
- Immediate Available is preferred
- Buying office experience preferred
- Previous experience in intimate is a must
- Knowledge in both woven and knit items will be an advantage
- Demonstrated experience working with manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors
- Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to travel when required & as necessary
- A confident and proactive work ethic
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Bachelor’s Degree/Tertiary Qualification is preferred but not essential
