Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager (Regulations), the incumbent will assume the following:

  • Assist in conducting market research on latest local situation as well as regional and international practices of the travel industry for reference and benchmarking
  • Provide support on matters relating to the regulation of the travel industry, including drawing up subsidiary legislation (such as licensing conditions), directives, codes of conduct, guidelines, administrative schemes etc
  • Assist in liaising with stakeholders of the trade and collecting data to prepare analyses on the latest trade landscape, prevalent practices, tourism incident related issues etc
  • Assist in compiling statistics, analysing and preparing reports
  • Provide secretariat support to the Codes and Guidelines Committee
  • Perform other duties as assigned by seniors

 

Requirements

  • Holder of a university degree with not less than 2 years of work experience, or holder of a Higher Diploma/Associate Degree with not less than 4 years of work experience
  • Strong command of written English and Chinese
  • Experience in the travel industry would be an advantage
