Job Posting Details

The appointee will report to the Head (Sports Development) and will be responsible for the provision of instruction and services relating to sports and physical education for students. Duties include: teaching fitness and sports skills classes for students, serving as advisor to student clubs in developing extra-curricular interests in sports, organizing student development programs related to sports service and participation, provide support to student athletes, and other relevant duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a recognized degree in physical education or related discipline. Experience in teaching and/or organizing sports activities for university students or in an education setting is an advantage. Applicants should have strong communication skills with good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua. They should be diligent and keen learners with a strong sense of responsibility. The appointee is expected to be a good team player who is self-motivated and detail-minded. Working outside normal office hours will be required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
