Job Description

As Assistant Operation Manager of Customer Finance team, you will be responsible for effective management of billing, cash application and credit related operation.

While mastering and executing the fundamentals will be critical, your ability to operate in a very dynamic environment and work effectively with a variety of internal stakeholders will also be crucial.  You’ll manage a complex matrix of internal partnerships with cross functional teams. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting into GC Customer Finance Director, you are expected to carry out the following key responsibilities:

·       Manage GC billing / invoicing operation team, ensuring all WS customers are timely & accurately invoiced for their shipments / rebates / returns

·       Manage GC cash application operation team, ensuring proceeds from WS customers are applied to open billing items in a timely fashion

·       Manage GC credit operation, including timely update of customer credit master data, execution of approved order releases, data interfacing with credit insurance partner, etc.

·       Coach & develop billing / cash app / credit ops staff

·       Lead on process optimization initiatives from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

·       4+ years' extensive experience in finance accounting, AR management, or relevant field; experience within a large multinational, publicly held company preferred;

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

·       CPA preferred

·       Reasonable risk management / analytical knowledge

·       Reasonable commercial and business acumen

·       Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

·       Ability to assess financial risks and controls across end to end business and operational processes

·       Experience with and ability to work collaboratively with multinational cultures and countries

·       Experience with large scale transformational initiatives, process improvements or shared services capabilities

·       Ability to influence and inform stakeholders on complex technical topics

·       Ability to innovate and navigate through ambiguity

·       Experience with SAP is preferred

·       English and Mandarin language proficiency
