Purpose of the Position:                                   

Under the guidance and direction of Operation Management:

• Provide Operation Process support to the CSCL production line to establish stable operational performance.
• Implement process and equipment improvements to achieve the plant’s continuous improvement goals in cost, capacity, delivery and quality.
• Ensure a safe working environment within the facility.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Interact and support daily Cutting operations.
• Establish rigorous process control and discipline within their respective area of responsibility (determine appropriate data collection, process monitoring, control methods, and documented standard operating procedures).
• Control process variation and making continuous improvements.
• Investigate and analyze process issues, providing troubleshooting support, developing solutions, and implementing permanent corrective actions.
• Conduct experimentation to understand cause and effect of changes.
• Control effective implementation of process or equipment changes.
• Provide training and certification of operators and technicians in process control and defect detection.
• Interact with Division and Plant technical resources to exchange and transfer technology of best practices.
• Implement and enforce procedures for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Stay current as a ‘subject matter expert’ in their field of technical expertise.

Education & Experience

• College+ degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent. 
• 2+ years experience working on manufacturing.
• Similar work experience of mechanical position in multi-national companies highly preferred.

• Manufacturing systems, technical expertise, and statistical skills.
• Good communication skills – both oral and written, Normal for English.
