Job Description

Assistant Programmes Manager I/II

Office of Global Education and Interdisciplinary Studies

(Post Ref: 20/190/SW)

The appointee is expected to (a) coordinate with the University’s partner institutions overseas and in Mainland China to offer outbound student mobility programmes; (b) manage the partnership maintenance and development; (c) administer outbound student mobility programmes in accordance with relevant regulations; (d) provide executive support to the allocation of scholarships and financial subsidies for outbound student mobility programmes; (e) administer student evaluations for outbound student mobility programmes; (f) promote internationalisation to the University community; (g) manage and enhance the Office’s online application system; (h) support the Office’s data collection and reporting exercises; and perform other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.

 

Requirements

Candidates should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector; (ii) strong analytical skills with knowledge in data analytic/statistical software; (iii) an excellent command of both English and Chinese and proficiency in Putonghua; and (iv) excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

 

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
