Estates Office
The appointee will be responsible for assisting the Project and Facility Manager in the implementation of improvement works, repair and maintenance works on campus and in other centres; and preparing the University’s development proposals including alternation, additions and improvement projects of building services systems. He/she will liaise with government departments and consultants in matters relating to campus projects; manage building services systems and repair and maintenance works for various building services systems; maintain a high level of health and safety standards of the campus; and perform other duties as assigned by the Project and Facility Manager.
Applicants should have a recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related disciplines and at least 7 years of relevant full-time working experience. They should also have working experience in tertiary education institution and term contracts for maintenance and minor works. They should be highly self-motivated and independent with minimum supervision. They should have a high degree of proficiency in using AutoCAD and MS Office applications, good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. Shortlisted candidates may be required to sit for a written test.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
