What the job looks like

• Key liaison person for the Trans-Pacific BU Asia office with USA/Canada and Asia for all Counter dominant trade lane.
• Good understanding of all Trans-Pacific west bound customers and cargoes, to add value to the trade and grew the business
• Initiate, participate and contribute in daily/weekly/periodic contact with TPWB team
• Handles all Trans-Pacific west bound Trade/inbound clearance matters such as those related to free time, detention waiver considerations and other customer liaison.
• Design, maintain and drive key Trans-Pacific west bound reports to achieve desired performance
• Perform required Market and commodity studies to guide trade decision
• Manage inbound trade costing
• Guide the correct flow of cargoes to match equipment status
• Identify inbound opportunities and drive them through rigorous front line offices engagements
• Initiate equipment imbalance ration reduction program
• Set KPI for cost avoidance.

Needs

• University graduate
• At least 2 years' relevant experience in shipping / logistics industry
• Fluent English and Mandarin is essential
• Familiar with Microsoft & SAP Applications
