Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, obtain and negotiate insurance carrier coverage policies to meet client needs.
• Work with Client Executives to document, evaluate and select competitive insurance carrier coverage quotes to drive success.
• Manage general insurance placements across all classes.
• Implement the Placement strategy to achieve growth goals and provide exceptional client service.
• Interface closely with Client Executives and client teams to support client retention and new business production Support development of Marsh placement function.
• Create and maintain relationships with insurance markets, clients carriers and/or underwriters to provide cohesive client service.
• Advise on changing insurance and risk management market conditions, and inform Client Executives, and/or clients of major developments affecting various types of products/coverage.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in handling insurance placements within broking environment, or P&C underwriting fields
• Experience of handing negotiation with underwriters for best terms and conditions to our clients around P&C placements
• Good understanding of policies, contracts and Facilities
• Knowledge of the brokerage industry in Hong Kong and the competitors to Marsh
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Good presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Less experienced candidate may be considered as Placement Manager
