- To assist the Wellness Manager in all aspects of department operations including sales, purchasing department maintenance, training, scheduling and staff supervision.
- Scheduling of Wellness staff, maintaining updated schedules and timecards in time-clock software, developing time-off procedures and helping identify labor needs via scheduling
- Filling in for staff and undertaking buying duties when the buyers and staff are unavailable
- Conduct evaluations for direct reports
- Assisting in hiring, training and evaluating Wellness department staff
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the factors and issues affecting the retail wellness market, and passing this knowledge along to staff
- Supervising daily operations and maintaining daily coverage in the absence of the Wellness Manager
- Helping develop, streamline, and refine department procedures/systems
- Helping with quarterly and yearly budgeting and scheduling to ensure labor goals are met
- Attending department and storewide meetings, and helping set department meeting agendas
- Ordering, receiving, and stocking product
- Ensuring that staff adherence to store policies, safety guidelines and Health Department regulations
- Participating in quarterly inventory counts
- Serving as therapist in case of any emergency
- Providing feedback to Department Manager on product selection, customer satisfaction, operational changes, ideas for department and sales improvement, product adds and drops
- Assisting with promotional set up, resets and category management
Work Experience
- Previous experience with Accor or Luxury hotel Chain
- Minimum 1-2 year Experience in similar position.
- Exceptional communication skills English and Vietnamese, verbally and written.
- Guest passion and a problem solving skills.
- Excellent skills in Guest service and Public Relations.
