Major Responsibilities:
(1) Legal support and legal business partner to two business units of RFC China in the commercial dimension, particularly in terms of contracting and managing review and negotiation contracts with customers, merchants and supplier ;
(2) Legal support to RFC China HR organization and labor employment issue;
(3) Coordinating with global COE to manage the trademark portfolio and infringement in China;
(4) Leading and coordinating RFC China corporate secretarial service;
(5) Assisting to advise the material claims and project-based work which will be assigned;
(6) Managing legal budget and vendor.
Qualifications:
(1) Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor from an established and reputable law school in the People’s Republic of China.
(2) Post-graduate qualifications (e.g. Masters at Law or LLM in an English environment) from an established university and/or work experience outside People’s Republic of China are optional.
(3) 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in general commercial legal matters in a reputable law firm and/or a MNC. In-house experience in an MNC is mandatory.
(4) Fluent in both English and Mandarin (both oral and written).
(5) Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
(6) Must be able to strike a balance between the two principal objectives of being a facilitator to the business and protecting the interests of the company.
(7) Quick learner, ability to grasp complex new business concepts; Good commercial acumen and creative approach to problem-solving.
