YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Director Regional Pipeline Supply Strategy and Design, are to: 

• Work on Product Supply counterpart for regional brands and address two to five years of strategic initiatives such as pipeline growth, future capabilities matrix, insourcing innovation, and new product development;
• Manage the regional Pipeline Supply Strategy and Design (PSSD) for a two to five-year planning, prioritization, approval, etc. with shared accountability to deliver/ensure alignment of product pipeline strategies with PS strategies and key functions;
• Ensure an efficient and sustainable supply chain strategy for NPDs within the assigned "Regional Power Brands" and "Local Pearls" product portfolio;
• Liaise to key Manufacturing Sites and Stakeholders ensuring capabilities to support growth;
• Have primary PSSD responsibilities for assigned OTC Switch projects;
• Provide input/guidance into business development opportunities such as in licensing, procurement led projects such as Make Vs. Buy activities, etc.;
• Lead options analysis and conduct presentations into the Evaluation Board and Global Sourcing Council;
• Collaborate to ensure program assignments are balanced to meet product/brand needs while ensuring workload balance amongst resources;
• Have an ownership of new business cases on assigned projects;
• Provide Input into Pre-Gate A activities such as cost evaluation of concepts, manufacturing feasibility, sourcing strategy etc. in support of marketing business case preparation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree or equivalent with at least six years of relevant work experience;
• Broad cross functional skills and experience in one of the following areas such as Operations (Manufacturing Processes or Supply Chain or Quality) or Research and Development (Product Development) or Business (Innovation Launch);
• Knowledge of the functions that support the business would be beneficial and include Supply Chain, Operations, External Manufacturing, Business Development, Regulatory, Quality, Packaging, Procurement and Marketing;
• Horizontal and vertical leadership skills, business acumen, persuasion and influence, assertiveness, proactive mindset, accountability and capability in working with and influencing people outside of the Product Supply organization;
• Strategic and commercial viewpoint who approaches decision making from the company perspective;
• Demonstrated experience in the following areas including the catalyst between PS and the Commercial and Research and Development organizations;
• Make the ability to assimilate a large quantity of information, take decisions quickly and manage stakeholders at many levels and functions key;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate concepts and ideas related to assigned product portfolio;
• Self-motivated with high degree of initiative and excellent follow-up skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in cross-functional, global teams as well as ability to work independently;
• Proven ability to manage high amounts of complexity;
