Job Description
Job Summary The Associate Analyst performs supply chain activities with regard to purchase order issuance, goods in transit inventory management, receiving and logistics administration to support our $750 million Distributed IT business. Job Responsibilities Manage the purchase order interface between Distributed IT business and CITU SAP and ensure demand planning is aligned and PO placement is synchronized. Examine open purchase orders daily and proactively to resolve all related issues to ensure timely receipt of the materials required to meet the schedule. Work in partnership with Distributed IT business SME to resolve shortages and logistic queries. Establish robust capability monitoring mechanism for all the critical processes in the buy/sell model. Communicating with stakeholders(buyers, planners, suppliers etc) for day to day activities or queries and gain resolution. Manage goods in transit inventory and supply goods receivables in SAP. Troubleshoot and resolve system interface errors in SAP ERP and other financial applications. Complete return material authorization transactions ensuring all systems and reporting is updated correctly in a timely manner. Creating daily, weekly and monthly reports as per business requirement / own deliverables Work collaboratively and be able to communicate effectively globally. Flexible in attitude and approach to accepting all tasks related to the position & flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required Qualifications Education level required Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma Years and area of experience required Two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (Shipping/Receiving, Inventory & Production) Strong working knowledge ERP Systems preferably SAP or HFA Technical knowledge Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts for planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving Soft skills Strong oral and written communication skills What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
