As a successful role holder, you will work closely with Project Lead in the Master Data Management Team. This role reports directly to Master Data Global Lead or Steering Committee. Master Data Management Team is responsible for the maintenance of SAP master data for AstraZeneca globally. We work internationally through teams in Cluj, Guatemala, Kuala Lumpur, Lublin, New Delhi and Warsaw. We manage approximately 20 different dictionaries, for 170 AstraZeneca subsidiaries in 5 SAP instances. Each month we manage around 100 000 transactions on data of vendors, customers, credit limits, cost elements and alike.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery for Master Data Management Team. Projects mostly encompass:

  • Transitioning of tasks into our team

  • Implementing improvements on the scale crossing more than one geography

  • Cleansing the data on mass scale

  • Tightening security of our operations

• Managing the delivery throughout full project lifecycle; from planning, execution, performance control and closure.

• Delivering results by following quality requirements within time agreed with allocated resources.

• Collaborate and align different goals of global data entry teams, SOX teams and end user communities.

Essential Requirements

• You have a Degree in Business or any related field.

• You have at least 1 year relevant working experience in project management and solid understanding of project management methodology.

• Sound accounting fundamentals and data analysis knowledge.

• Proficient in the use of SAP. Understanding SAP dictionaries especially: Vendors, Customers, Bank branches, Chart of accounts, Cost objects.

• Good communication in English.
