Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform animal husbandry duties
  • Perform dosing administration via IP, SC, and IV routes
  • Perform blood collection via tail venipuncture and retro-orbital routes
  • Blood sampling and analysis of plasma chemistries and circulating hormones
  • Perform necropsy, tissue collection, and processing
  • Keep meticulous records of research activities and experimental details
  • Prepare, review, and deliver scientific presentations for internal/external use

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Biology, Physiology or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience in completing preclinical in vivo studies using mouse models of obesity, diabetes, and metabolic disease
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and GraphPad Prism
  • Experience in preparation of dosing large and small molecule therapeutics
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability of multi-tasking to meet daring timelines
  • Willing to tackle additional responsibilities and proven experience of high performance in matrix organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and execute on deliverables
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
