Job Purpose:
Plan, develop, and implement brand PR strategies and activities to promote and sustain the brands’ positive image among the stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:
1. PR strategy and plan development
- Develop annual brand PR strategies and action plans (both traditional PR and ePR) aimed at adding value to achieving the overall brand objectives.
2. Brand Social Responsibility (BSR) strategy development
- Lead in defining and developing Brand Social Responsibility (BSR) strategy in alignment with both the corporate S&R vision and the brand objectives.
- Develop, implement, and communicate BSR programs, coordinating with brand teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
3. ePR amplification
- Establish ePR objectives and develop action plans for influencer and social media engagement. Engage and manage all the "journalist type" bloggers and accounts on social media platforms in line with the overall PR and media strategy. Ensure consistent media communication and avoid confusion.
- Work with internal and external partners to drive ePR content development and execution.
4. Media and influencer engagement and celebrity management
- Manage relationship with key media (lifestyle, fashion, luxury, trade, art & design and general interest) and influencers/KOLs (gastronomy, fashion, lifestyle, creative/design and art community).
- Solicit and share feedback/perception from media and influencers regarding trends, competition and position in the industry to provide counselling to the brand teams.
- Engage and manage celebrities at PR events.
5. Agency/third-party management and budget management
- Supervise agencies and suppliers to drive best results with reasonable qualitative and quantitative KPI setting
- Handle daily media enquiries.
- Manage spending vs. budget; ensure cost effectiveness with high standard quality of output
6. Team management
- Lead the brand PR team with collaboration with other functions.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree and above, major in mass communications / journalism / business preferred.
2. 12-15 years of working experience in communications, public relations, journalism or CSR NGOs, with good event management experience and digital skills.
3. Active team player, confident, creative and resourceful.
4. Result-oriented with excellent planning and organisational capability.
5. Good command of the Chinese and English languages (spoken and written) and strong communication and presentation skills.
6. Vibrant personality with a natural flair for interacting with people at all levels.
7. Be able to work under pressure and willing to provide support and coaching to team members.
