YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Customer Business Manager - eCommerce,Target & Strategic Grocery are to: 

 

  • Be responsible for achieving volume and KPI objectives through successful sell-in and execution of e commerce sales for Bayer Consumer Health business, while owning key sales processes and deliverables within assigned portfolio;
  • Develop collaborative relationships with customers and deliver online joint business plans (with customer team leads) that meets retailer needs and expectations, while aligned to Bayer brand strategies and goals;
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure best in class content and eCommerce fundamentals are executed across all key retail platforms for Target and Key Grocery – including elements like product content, content writing, reviews and feedback, copy approvals, and imagery production in line with retailer guidelines, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and plans;
  • Monitor and track digital shelf performance versus plan and uses insights to inform and pivot plans where necessary and communicate digital shelf insights to team;
  • Lead and execute all eCommerce selling presentations within assigned customer/portfolio of brands, engaging cross functional teams, as necessary;
  • Integrate and analyze multiple data sources to create selling strategies and programs that deliver win -win outcomes through innovation and collaboration;
  • Collaborate with customer marketing team to develop customer specific omni channel marketing programs (providing the overall dollar impact to the business bottom line) in alignment with brand strategies and retailer priorities;
  • Develop eCommerce new item sales plans, strategies and tactics in order to achieve headquarter and retail objectives using multiple source of internal and external insights;
  • Help champion and be the subject matter expert to help raise eCommerce capability within the team.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Have at least five years of progressive sales and/or marketing experience in the consumer package goods industry, this should include experience building strategic business plans that utilize specific resources (i.e., people, time and money) in the accomplishment of Corporate sales volume and profit goals;
  • Possess excellent financial management skills to critically assess strategic goals and cost investments versus results;
  • Ability to streamline operational processes;
  • Experience in a basic understanding of promotion effectiveness and continual improvement on ROIs;
  • Understand the customer and the marketplace;
  • Exceptional knowledge of retailer landscape and how to impact the total market;
  • Understand the impact of individual decisions to Bayer’s total business and relevant long-term implications;
  • Sales experience with key retailers;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to deliver clear and concise presentations, actionable direction and work well within a matrixed team environment;
  • Proven success with one-on-one customer negotiations;
  • Proven ability to develop win-win solutions to complex situations lacking historical data;
  • Superior problem solving and critical thinking skills demonstrated through multi-task problem solving and practical judgment Tech/digital savvy;
  • Robust analytical capabilities across a variety of data sources and platforms with ability to execute sales planning activities;
  • Advanced computer literacy skill required, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Have a Valid Driver’s license;
  • Ability to travel as necessary.

  • M.B.A.

 

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $111,400 to $ 180,900. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
