Job Description
Eaton’s Interconnect Technologies Division is currently seeking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Santiago, Dominican Republic facility. Job Summary Under minimal supervision the Customer Service Representative is required to follow all sales orders from initial customer contact and placement through delivery. Verification of orders for accurate price, part number and quantity. Provide price quotations. Keep accurate record of sales orders; status, ship dates and back orders. Ensure internal flow down of requirements. Tasks Receive request for quotes from customers and respond with information from the system, or coordinate with Pricing department to obtain the information in a timely manner Receive, review and process customer Purchase orders on a daily basis. Process changes on purchase orders and work with Supply Chain to meet customer requests. Respond quickly to customer complaints by working with Quality to issue RMAs, replacement orders and corrective action reports. Monitor customer portals for RFQ’s, PO’s and order changes. Answer phones in a friendly and upbeat manner. Interact with unsatisfied customers in a professional manner. Manage any contract review needed on purchase orders. Work with Sales and accounting to create new customer accounts Assist A/R in the collection of accounts with no payments and short payments. Provide weekly open order reports to customers and follow up on recovery dates internally. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with little supervision. Detail oriented, with good analytical and communication skills. Support / back up to other customer service representatives’ accounts as needed. Update and maintain customer files as required. Follow Trade Compliance regulations. Perform other duties as required Job Characteristics: This position does not have supervision responsibilities. It has little responsibilities for material resources Medium physical effort, high mental and visual effort Normal working condition Low possibility of risk #LI-SL4 Qualifications Special Requirements Speak and Write English Fluently Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, & Excel). Must have strong relationship and customer management skills. Education/Previous Experience Requirements Preferable bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field Preferable 1 years of related experience in Customer Service Excellent verbal and communication skills Must possess efficient organizational skills with a familiarity with office procedures Accurate basic math capabilities Must be Microsoft Excel proficient Como empresa que opera en la República Dominicana, Eaton está sujeto a cumplir la Resolución 00048 del Ministerio de Salud Pública y Asistencia Social (“MISPAS”) que ordena la presentación de la tarjeta de vacunación contra la COVID-19 para el ingreso a lugares de trabajo con espacios cerrados y de uso colectivo.
