The Role

This is an entry level role with the core focus on data intake, and data verification for renewal instructions based on EP validation orders. Data onboarding activities may be client facing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process all incoming client renewal instructions related to EP validation orders.
  • Responsible for data verification.
  • Provide clients with docketing reports.
  • Manage onboarding of new client accounts.
  • Collaborate with Service Account Manager to ensure smooth client onboarding and to resolve data issues.
  • Liaise with Senior Applications Support Analyst
  • Ensuring the highest level of care when working with client data.
  • Liaise with clients and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Responsible for any other duties assigned and executed to the highest standard.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and take immediate action by reporting to your supervisor where risk is identified.
  • Timely delivery of all communications & projects to clients and internal team members ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Understanding of task-tracking and urgency.
  • Exceptional project management of varied projects and processes.
  • Ability to master internal operating system and platforms.

Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years of data entry, data analysis and or docketing experience in the IP industry required.
  • Basic understanding of the European patent validation process.
  • Familiarity with navigating public databases and experience with PatBase and or other IP data search tools desired.
  • Strong project management skills desired with proficiency in time management, planning and organising.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and analytical skills required.
  • Understanding urgency and escalation procedures.
  • Very good written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Capable of working both with and without supervision, individually and as part of a team.
