Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design and produce Medline brand product packaging
- Create package layouts in Illustrator
- Experience working with die lines
- Collaborate with Senior Production Artist on handoff of design concepts for production
- Design packaging following Medline style guide to ensure design consistency and build brand identity across different product lines
- Collaborate with divisions to gain basic knowledge of products and translate to design solutions
- Gain basic knowledge of FDA packaging requirements for medical devices
- Create mockups for presentations (digital and physical)
- Prepare and release digital artwork files for print according to best practices
- Upload final artwork files into PIMDAM
Communication and Presentation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Teamwork
- Work and communicate effectively to meet team goals
- Comfortable taking design direction from senior team members
Time Management
- Works well in a fast paced environment
- Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
- Communicates with Project Coordinator and Design Manager to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on budget
Software
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop – MAC platform
- Proficient in utilizing FontAgent Pro, Art Files, PIMDAM, Virtual Ticket and Approval Manager
