Job Description
Responsibility:
- Implement business strategy/plans as defined. Negotiate, cooperate and manage the insurance vendors together with Account Team to complete the bidding and renewal process based on the clients’ needs and Mercer requirement.
- Link brokers/consultants and integrate requested reports by defining standard processes. Serve as key contact for vendor systems and processing issues. Lead team to build efficient and effective communication within team—keep team apprise of vision and up-to-date information on clients
- Design effective and efficient reports and data analytics to support projects, including claim report, RFP, quotation, proposal, etc.
- Catch the latest market news and updated policies. Build and maintain a good and stable relationship with insurance vendors. Do the training, sharing and coaching to Mercer Account Team regularly.
- Update insurance vendor’s service level information timely and regularly. Provide input to products and solutions improvement and development to meet clients’ requirement. Contributes to streamlining/optimizing operations.
- Leaders large/complicate client projects and on schedule by utilizing project management tools. Responsible for establishing and maintain necessary carrier/vendor relationships with appropriate contacts to serve clients.
- Provide significant leverage in role-delegating work and coaching/mentoring to less experienced consultants.
- Involve in product improvement and development. Look for opportunities to optimize existing process, enhance data flows, workflow and resource utilization. Contribute to market initiatives by participating in special projects for either operational streamlining or product development
- Focus on client financial results by qualifying and addressing scope changes with team members and clients. Manage accounts receivables and client retention
Requirement:
- Bachelor or Master Degree preferably in, Human resources, Actuarial studies, Applied psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Management, Statistics discipline etc.
- Minimum working experience of 5-7 years, preferably in insurance industry or health benefit area.
- Experienced in sales supporting
- Strong analytical skills and project management skill, especially for large and jumble client.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
- Highly proficient computer skills.
