AbbVie Women’s Health is seeking an Associate Director, Commercial Development and Portfolio Strategy. This position is responsible for leading the commercial development strategy for current and future Women’s Health assets as well as optimizing the commercial strategy across the Women’s Health portfolio. In this role you will find innovative ways to evolve and grow the Women’s Health business through life cycle management activities and pipeline development. Additional responsibilities include identifying opportunities for strategic synergy across the Women’s Health Portfolio, establishing a portfolio external expert engagement strategy, maintaining professional business relationships with key societies, and partnering with MA&BI to collect relative competitive insights and distill insights into actionable strategies. This position is required to work cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders such as regulatory strategy, medical affairs, clinical development and commercial. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Marketing Directors and cross-functional partners to build, manage and execute regulatory strategies and plans to achieve business objectives and goals Leverage market research insights to ensure the voice of the patient is infused into clinical and regulatory development plans Act as commercial lead on Asset Strategy Teams (AST) and Pipeline Commercialization Model (PCM) sub teams supporting Women’s Health assets Act as liaison to Business Development to identify and value new opportunities in Women’s Health Partner with Medical Affairs to identify evidence gaps in brandy story and develop plans to address and expand allowable messaging Lead development and execution of External Expert engagement strategy for Women’s Health Partner with Marketing Analytics and Business Insights (MA&BI) to collect and distribute relevant competitive insights and distill insights into actionable strategies for portfolio Act as portfolio strategic lead, identifying opportunities for strategic synergy across portfolio. Lead development of the long-range plan strategy for entire WH portfolio. Effectively collaborate with business leads and cross functional partners to deliver business results This role can be based out of the Madison, NJ or Lake County, IL office Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience. Healthcare Marketing and/or Sales experience preferred, with ability to develop and communicate a compelling story. Strong communication skills and executive presence. Demonstrated ability to analyze, handle and communicate clearly complex situations. Positive and reciprocal management style working with cross-functional teams to navigate internal matrices to achieve business goals. Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g. CFR 210/211, eGMP).
