Lead and manage the Digital Delivery and Transformation team to engage with Product Owner and business to define and develop next generation Digitalization and Innovation solutions for advancing the Technology, Digital and Analytic (TDA) strategies in the company. Proactively advocate for and utilize technology innovation to establish AIA as an industry leader in innovation and to create business advantage

Roles and Responsibilities:

Program / Project Management, Application Development, Architecture Design

and Implementation

• Collaborate with digital product owners (DPO) and business units to develop, manage and implement best-in-class customer centric journey on AIAHK digital products via adoption of TDA strategies, agile practice and cloud technologies
• Lead the team in defining and managing strategic goals and deliverables for our AIAHK digital channels (primarily customer platform) and track implementation success
• Define strategy and execution plan for a future customer platform based operating model aligned to TDA strategy
• Work with Digital Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to generate innovative digital solutions for services, processes, customer experiences and support models for digital customer platforms
• Lead local/offshore or external vendor resources for a smooth delivery of customer app enhancements across well project planning, risk management, resources, and budget management
• Work with business user to refine production support model on customer platforms applications, including AIA Connect and AIA Vitality
• Manage the communication and strive for alignment with IT functional departments including Enterprise Architect, Process & Control, IT Infrastructure & Tech Risk for the resolution for TDA deliverables

System Support, Technical Advices and Testing

Supports and gives advice for all levels of users in order to deliver high quality IT services and ensures smooth production run of application systems with high standard of stability, availability and performance

• Ensure smooth production run of application systems and provides system support
• Analyse technical issues and devises & provides cost effective solutions
• Handle enquires and provides technical support to end users
• Provide training to upgrade IT knowledge on business and applications
• Conduct research on new IT technology and prepares reports and recommendations

Other Responsibilities

• Ensure all AIA HK TDA project and BAU deliverables are maintained in compliance with AIA Group Security and other standards
• Demonstrate AIA Leadership Essential (clarity, courage and humanity) in managing business counterparts, team members, and IT HoDs for their collaboration and coordination as one team in system delivery

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor degree preferably with Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline
• 10+ years IT experience, preferably 5+ years in a multi-national financial services company (insurance preferred but not a must) or technology consulting firms
• 5+ years experience in Digital related projects, 3 of which in the capacity of Development and/or Solution Design Lead
• 2+ years experience using agile for digital related projects
• 2+ years experience leading technology innovation successfully deliver into business functions

Specific Skills

• Experience in Cloud Adoption using Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Experience in digital/web development using Angular/React/Vue, Java Spring Boot, node.js and MongoDB
• Experience in API Development and Microservices Architecture Design
• Experience in identify access management and authentication standards like OAuth, OpenID connect or SAML
• Experience in Container technology like Docker and Kubernetes
