ABOUT THIS JOB

Apart from that, you will also be managing a client servicing team to ensure prompt delivery of service to the responsible clients in order to achieve the set financial objectives and other operational performance indicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a team with the primary responsibility of expanding the scope of influence with key clients across a wider range of products/services and greater depth of involvement
  • Further foster strategic clients’ relationship with plans to cross sell or introducing new services, with the aim to provide impactful solutions to clients’ business issues.
  • Lead/participate in the contract negotiation process to ensure “win/win”
  • Provide ideas and thoughtful insights into new ideas and initiatives for clients, showing competency in Thought Leadership
  • Accountability for the team KPIs; continuous monitoring of actual versus budgeted performance
  • Review and finalized draft designs (ie proposals, tools, analytic plans, reports, workshops) prepared by team members 
  • Actively drive issue-based analyses, deliver proactive insights, and build effective analytical presentations and consultative story telling to clients through insightful and actionable recommendations
  • Develop and deliver workshops, thought leadership and other client facing deliverables as appropriate 
  • Effective team leadership

    • Team resource management leading to on time delivery & meeting quality expectations 
    • Manage and cultivate  a client-centric team
    • Assess, manage and develop talents
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer by acting as an advisor or trainer and source of technical advice for team members and other CI associates 
    • Active engagement in driving team spirit
    • Represent China Qualitative interests in global and local Nielsen IQ forums
    • Set PPR objectives and provide on-going performance feedback
    • Drive company initiatives and reinforce key messages
    • Effectively manage Nielsen IQ business processes relative to revenue and expense management
    • Take the lead and drive regular review/revisions of systems and procedures with the end goal of improving productivity and cost efficiency in the department
    • Perform other related functions that may be assigned  

ABOUT YOU

The Associate Director of Consumer Insights (Qualitative) drives the ownership of client delivery and relationships, has accountability for delivering on commercial arrangements and expanding the relationships for growth. He/she should be recognized and seen leading an expertise either in industry, product or practices within Nielsen IQ.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 8 years Qualitative Research experience, a sophisticated IDIs and FGDs moderator,P&G certified moderator would be a plus
  • Strong logical mindset, reach insight to the core
  • Be professional, well presented and willing to roll up your sleeves with a fun and energetic team!
  • Have excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be a strong relationship builder as well as a great storyteller
  • Be self-motivated, adaptable and proactive.
  • Have the ability to mix traditional and new research methods as the need arises
  • Strong commercial acumen and business development skills
