The Associate Director of Finance is a key role within the International and Latin America and has responsibility for leading the FP&A Function for Latin America (LATAM). The role involves providing financial planning and decision support to the Area Finance Director and the Vice President of Commercial to lead revenues +$160 MM. In addition, this position provide business partnering support to the Area Management Team. The Associate Director of Finance oversees all FP&A process around the region and has direct responsibility to drive management reporting process, annual operating plan (AOP), forecasting, Long Range Plan (LRP) and business-related analytics to provide insightful business decision support and analysis on performance trends and makes recommendations for operating performance improvements or risk mitigation to drive growth in both sales and contribution margin. The incumbent will be responsible for 1 FP&A Managers and core international projects. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with FP&A teams across the region to timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis to monitor business KPIs and enable effective decision making Provides strategic financial support in setting strategic objectives and in delivering on quarterly and annual financial targets Support the Area Finance Director in ensuring systems and processes are in place to support Area’s ability to forecast and plan to meet internal business needs as well as corporate planning requirements including: Coordinate with the FP&A network to ensure FP&A timelines and processes are understood Ensure international submissions are met on a timely basis Support the preparation of presentations and analysis for all plans to be presented by the Area to International. Ensure that supporting data and analysis is relevant and accurate Execute FP&A related projects, process improvement and automations Ensure reporting and analytics are done on an accurate and timely basis for all marketing related queries such as pricing, sales and market share submissions on an ad-hoc, monthly and quarterly basis Drives the annual plan and periodic forecast processes, ensuring that deliverables are reasonably predictive of future results. Keeps financial and operational management appraised of current business trends relative to plan and forecast. Formulates recommendations for course correction as required Ensures that local financial processes and procedures at a country level are operating effectively to enable accurate and timely reporting of financial results and maintenance of adequate internal controls in accordance with Corporate financial policies and procedures. Drive and ensure linkage between investment allocations and the P&L. Constant resource allocation review expected to maximize ROI Integrate financial planning process with cash flow planning, transfer pricing planning and demand planning Lead weekly sales forecasting process and guide Commercial Operations on to-market sales of all products Lead production of analysis of expenses to Commercial teams to support cost management and promote ways to improve forecast accuracy and budget clarity Sales and full P&L modelling for new products launches and/or initiatives Prepare and communicate business unit/country financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, growth opportunities, resulting implications and key actions, with special focus on providing insights to with accurate financial data provision. Fosters a culture of strong internal control, compliance, financial discipline and business integrity Raise the capabilities of FP&A to become a trusted/value added business partner Coordinate and supervise accounting activities in compliance with local regulations, US GAAP, and company policies Coordinate the month-end accounting close process to provide timely and accurate financial reports. Qualifications Education and Desire Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Administration, Engineering with MBA 10+ Years’ experience in finance Commercial Finance, Regional Finance FP&A, Center of Expertise (COE), Finance Operations, Cash Flow.
