You are responsible and accountable for a set of technology product solutions that supports and influences business objectives and goals for the business stakeholders within AIA in which requires you to manage, communication and influence the product life cycle & delivery with multiple stakeholders (technology team, third party vendors, business senior leadership team) while aligning to overall company objectives. Lead the change and development of a high-performance team for technology delivery and total quality mindset

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning (10%):

• Formulate and determine the long and mid-term strategic plan of the unit aligning to department, division and company.

• Drive continues improvement for technology portfolio under your purview.

• Participate in Tech Leadership forums and engagement, ensure key messages are roll down to team effectively.

• Participate and influence business stakeholders in business planning sessions to align with IT deliver and support.

Stakeholder Management (30%):

• Manage, optimize and prioritize business demands in relation to business value generation and resource capacity with all business unit heads.

• Manage, negotiate and influence relationships with senior leadership team and managers (inter and intra divisional) to deliver credible and consistent solution services.

• Manage, negotiate and influence vendor, business partner and GroupIT relationships to provide delivery flexibility.

Delivery Management (20%):

• Planning, prioritizing, managing delivery of projects assigned.

• Ensure delivery complies to SOP defined (SDLC, change management, security tollgates, etc)

• Ensure business and functional requirements are translated into system solutions.

• Manage and plan resourcing for software engineer to complete execution delivery

• Manager, optimize, plan operating cost and capital expenditure.

Product & Engineering Management (20%):

• To ensure product successfully supports business strategy.

• To understand, challenge and analyse user stories/requirements and translate them to functional requirements.

• To act as the SME for business processes & technology solutions.

• Interact. communicate and influence multiple stakeholders throughout end-to-end solution delivery processes.

• Provide support throughout SIT, UAT, ORT to ensure testing is done in accordance to functional requirements.

• Responsible for all business system analyst activities and deliveries.

• Responsible for all application development activities and deliveries.

• Accountable application solutions/system with quality, architecture/risk/security compliance and continuous improvement.

• Responsible for governance and execution around software development, including version control, code review and structure, architecture, security, quality and performance.

• Managing vendor service and SLA

People Development (20%):

• Lead, attract and retain high quality individual to build the strategic and operational capabilities.

• Coach and mentor team to acquire the technical and soft skills

• Engage team performance and development plan in aligning to the IT strategic plan

Requirements:

• ≥8 years of experience in Technology Product Management/Software Engineering environment, with 8-10 years in supervisory experience on the supported technology domain.

• Strong experience in execution of IT projects with high level of expertise in system application/data and technology implementation delivery

• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with middle and senior management team, internal & external stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Domain proficiency in insurance business and its operations

• Able to work independently and highly self-motivated

• Able to work with peers and other stakeholders, a team player
