The Ozurdex Associate Director of Promotional marketing will be responsible for strategic planning and tactical implementation of Ozurdex’s brand plan across indications - DME, RVO, Uveitis. They will also support US launch readiness for a new applicator and new Ozurdex indications currently in the pipeline. Key areas of emphasis for this role include the following: Act as the commercial lead of the Integrated Brand Team and own the planning process of marketing deliverables and the annual brand plan Develop a strategic plan for Ozurdex’s US growth and market expansion (new applicator; 2 pipeline programs underway) Drive strategic and tactical execution of physician marketing efforts Develop key in-person marketing materials in collaboration with agency partners Lead promotional materials through the MLRC (regulatory/legal/compliance review) process by developing core claims, ensuring MLRC submissions are consistent with SOPs, and assisting with concept reviews Partner with sales leadership and sales training in the execution of sales meetings Develop key non-personal marketing materials including email, CRM, social posts/ads, display banners, video, journal ads, and search assets in partnership with the creative agency Lead advisory board and consulting meeting planning and execution Budget coordination and management This position will work in close partnership with commercial leaders across the Retina franchise, and will report to the Executive Director, Retina and Eye Care Portfolio - U.S. Marketing. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in relevant field Business or Life Sciences preferred Experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: brand marketing, sales, managed markets, pricing or market research/analytics, strategic planning Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
