SEFF Analytics provides analytic service around online and offline price & promotion, assortment optimization, store clustering etc which helps client improve sales performance.

This role is based in Shanghai, China

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role will be responsible for Nielsen Sales Effectiveness Analytics solution delivery. He or she will work as solution leader to lead team which delivers high quality modeling work and engage with commercial team to ensure successful client delivery.
• This role will be responsible for local solution development and enhancement and support the implementation of new global analytic initiatives and products .
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge on modeling techniques and applications.
• The role will lead a team with size of 6-7 and be responsible for establishing high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
• Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA / BS in mathematics/statistics related background
• Be familiar with SAS or R or Python is a must
• Knowledge with VBA,SQL, Visualization tool (e.g, Tableau, Power BI) would be a plus
• Solid statistic knowledge and has capability to design new methodology
• Basic understand on some frequently used Machine Learning Algorithm (e.g, decision tree, random forest, SVM, network analysis, etc)
• Highly developed and advanced analytical skills
• Effective communication and project management skill is needed
• Very strong problem-solver; can easily articulate, decompose and attack most problems
• 6 - 10 years statistic modeling working experiences
• 5 years above FMCG, Market Research, Analytics experience with previously demonstrated success within this environment.
