General Position Summary/Purpose The Associate Director, US Payer Marketing role reports directly to the Director of Market Access Marketing. This individual will be responsible for developing payer marketing strategy, product positioning and value proposition for Imbruvica to ensure appropriate access. The role will effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and leadership teams such as the Market Access Leadership Team, multiple Brand Teams, Account Management teams, and across multiple Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Outcomes Science Liaison (MOSL), Medical, Finance, Sales, and Government Affairs/Advocacy teams. The ideal candidate will have deep payer expertise, solid understanding of clinical outcomes and health economics, and experience in oncology marketing. Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities Develop payer marketing materials including impactful clinical, economic and real-world health outcomes to deliver on market access objectives and materialize opportunities with payers, group providers, health systems, and thought leaders. Drive market research activities to inform and evolve the payer value proposition, payer marketing strategies, and tools that effectively communicate the value of Imbruvica to payer customers. Lead key aspects of the market access brand and tactical planning Serve as the US Market Access subject matter expert for integrated brand teams Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Regulatory, Market Research, Legal, Medical Affairs and Medical Affairs HEOR Coordinate and successfully manage key vendors and agencies to ensure project success Develop and assess metrics to ensure successful tactic implementation and operation Help to guide and shape brand strategic decisions through market research and experience Assist in the content development and execution of payer and trade advisory boards Demonstrate company values consistently. Acts, and is accountable to act, in compliance with all laws, regulations and policies Qualifications Qualifications BS/BA required; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred At least 8+ years of experience in the pharma/biotech or payer/PBM space Experience working in Access Marketing or oncology marketing is preferred Possess extensive knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, reimbursement, federal marketplace (VA/DoD), oncology societies, regional health plans, national health plans, physician network influences, emerging clinical pathways, IDNs and product distribution (specialty pharmacies). Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing, reimbursement, trade, payer, HUB services and/or sales with relevant experience and increasing job responsibilities.
